For the next couple of months, i will travel a bit more into the Flex world, and leave the MX world behind me. It's always a good idea to prepare your journey, so here's my first question:
Does anyone know if IBM is still working on the Eclipse plugin for Flex? From the original Macromedia press release, the project called "Partridge" would allow Eclipse users to code, test and debug Flex applications, but i've heard rumors IBM is basically working on this on their own. If you go to Alphaworks, you can only find the plugin for the Websphere studio suite.
If you know more on this, feel free to leave a comment. By the way, Eclipse 3.0 M9 is now out. This is the final milestone of build of Eclipse 3.0 which means it's feature frozen. Check for the new features here.
As far as i know, there is no eclipse-version available at the moment, but you can use for example the oxygen xml-plugin or xmlbuddy and link the flex schema in your installation directory.

The IBM plugin relays in several WASAD plugins, for this reason there's no compatibility with eclipse, and I've don't have to expect too much more about this...

We are still planning on an Eclipse plugin, however we don't have a release date right now.

This is wonderful!!! I think this strategy is working really great and I recently summarized how my use of Twitter (as an IBMer) really helps IBM: http://www.lbenitez.com/2009/01/when-i-use-twitter-ibm-wins.html
